                Nick Vivarelli is Variety’s Italy and Middle East correspondent, based in Rome. He grew up in Italy and the U.S., where he attended NYU. A regular on the international film festival circuit he has worked for several media outlets, including The Associated Press, Newsweek, Travel & Leisure, The Hollywood Reporter and Italian film weekly Ciak. He is the author of “Slalom,” an Italian-language thriller set in Tuscany published by Manni Editori.
